Adams Environmental, Inc. (AEI) is a woman-owned business based in San Antonio, Texas with significant experience in natural resources management, cultural resources management, environmental permitting, geographic information system (GIS) support, and geospatial services. AEI is certified as a Woman Business Enterprise (WBE), a Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE), a Historically Underutilized Business (HUB), a Small Business Enterprise (SBE), and an Emerging Small Business Enterprise (ESBE). AEI has offered services to San Antonio and many other counties and states for over 28 years, and our consulting scientists and archaeologists regularly support private, federal, state, and local government entities on a variety of projects navigating compliance with the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA), Clean Water Act (CWA), Endangered Species Act (ESA), National Historic Preservation Act (NHPA), and the Antiquities Code of Texas (ACT) through our environmental and archaeological surveys, monitoring, reporting, and compliance efforts.

AEI fills a niche market in environmental consulting services and provides unmatched customer service and attention to detail. AEI's projects in GIS involve using this technology to not only create maps, but also to complete complex modeling and analysis of ecological systems, habitat assessment, and remote sensing studies. AEI also has an in-depth skillset in database creation and maintenance, GIS web development, and spatial analysis. We also offer drone photography and videography led by a commercial FAA Part 107 licensed drone pilot to supplement in the data collection process, when necessary or when requested. On staff, we have an ISA certified Arborist and a USFWS-permitted biologist for the endangered golden-cheeked warbler.

By conducting projects in these service sectors, AEI routinely interacts and coordinates with government regulatory agencies including the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service (USFWS), Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ), Texas Parks and Wildlife Department (TPWD), Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT), and the Texas Historical Commission (THC).
