On behalf of myself and the staff of AEI – Thank you for visiting our website! I hope that you will take some time to browse the staff page and a list of the services we offer. I am excited to announce that AEI now offers Cultural Resources Management (CRM) services in-house, with the addition of our Senior Archaeologist and CRM Program Manager, David Yelacic, RPA. David brings over 15 years in the industry as an archaeologist focused on work in Texas, and his expertise paired with our seasoned environmental staff allows AEI to offer more comprehensive consulting services to our clients. This strengthens are ability to provide both natural and cultural resources services by bringing in experienced staff all under the Adams roof. We have added additional environmental scientists to our team including an ISA-certified arborist who is also permitted by the USFWS for golden-cheeked warbler presence/absence surveys, expanding our capabilities and building in redundancy with our current staff.

AEI was incorporated in July 1996, and it is exciting for me to lead AEI into the 27th year of business! Since its inception, AEI has been located in San Antonio, Texas, serving various clients around the state. AEI's service areas have extended across the nation over the years, and we welcome the chance to provide environmental consulting services on any project in any location if it falls within our wheelhouse.

I have personally had over a decade with the company, and I entered into management at AEI in the early part of 2011. As majority owner, I have sincerely enjoyed continuing the leadership that Lynn and Susan Kitchen first instilled into the company. They had an amazing vision to establish a long-lasting company that cared about the work, the clients, the employees, and the community around them. I strive to continue that vision with each passing year.

Through AEI's work with clients and regulatory agencies, we are working to help protect and sustain the environment while seeing important projects through to construction. By serving our clients' needs in an efficient, cost-saving, and ethical manner, we are able to achieve our goals as a leading environmental consulting business in the Texas market. I am a certified woman-owned business enterprise (WBE), disadvantaged business enterprise (DBE), and a small business (SBE/ESBE) through the South Central Texas Regional Certification Agency (SCTRCA). I am also certified as a historically underutilized business (HUB) through the State of Texas. You can find copies of my certificates on this website as well.

It is important to me that our website guests and our clients understand that my personal goal is to continue leading a company that has amazing work ethic with a focus on customer service, accurate and high-quality services and reports, and reasonable pricing.
